Medellin has year around perfect Mediterranean climate. It is no wonder that this city of eternal spring has caught the attention of travellers. The riding in the areas surrounding the city are fantastic. You can grit yourself up impressive climbs or choose a more leisurely approach in the rolling hills that sit about the valley floor. This six day tour is best suited for those who like to enjoy country road riding and all the amenities of a global city.
Nestled in a valley surrounded by impressive mountains, this area is the training ground for pro rider Rigoberto Uran. The landscape in this area is changes constantly. The lowland areas are warm and tropical while the hills surrounding are fresh and cooler. Many of our previous guests have used this tour as a way to get head start to your racing season. Others have enjoyed this tour to fully immerse themselves in this special part of the country.

TRAINING CAMP MEDELLÍN
THE ROAD TO ADVENTURE
- Day 1: Arrival
Arrival to Medellin. We will pick you up from the airport and go over the tour logistics that evening.- Day 2: +/- 90km
We will use the first day as a gentle introduction but with challenges big enough to keep us on our toes. Distance: 90 kilometres Altitude gain: 2000 metres- Day 3: +/- 85km
Today’s ride will have a more varied terrain. There is one large descent followed by an impressive climb that we lead us back to the city. Distance: 81 kilometres Altitude gain: 2600 metres- Day 4: +/-120km
This stage is a beautiful challenge in a charming region. We will spend most of the day’s ride above 2000 metres. Distance: 120 kilometres Altitude gain: 3200 metres- Day 5: +/-85km
We left the best for last. Today’s ride is not the longest, but definitely the toughest. Distance: 85 kilometres Altitude gain: 3500 metres.- Day 6: Departure
On this final day take you back to the airport or help you with any local arrangements you may have made.
