Day 1 - Day 1: Bogotá
Day 1Arrival to Bogotá. We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. In the evening we will go over the tour details with the group.Day 2 - Day 2: Bogotá – Cachipay
Day 2Our first day is a great warm up for the upcoming days. The day’s ride is a good introduction to the changing landscapes including a couple of punchy climbs and enjoyable rolling landscape. Distance: 100 kilometres Altitude gain: 1500 metresDay 3 - Day 3: Cachipay – Mariquita
Day 3Building on the expectation of the days to come, today’s stage will warm up our climbing legs. During the ride you will crown two climbs before being rewarded with great views on a long and sweeping descent. Distance: 120 kilometres Altitude gain: 2500 metresDay 4 - Day 4: Mariquita – Manizales
Day 4Today’s ride is an unforgettable experience. The 82 kilometre climb is a test of patience and perseverance. Starting at 700 meters above sea level you will ride to 3800 meters while passing through several climatic zones. Distance: 105 kilometres Altitude gain: 3900 metresDay 5 - Day 5: Manizales – Anserma
Day 5Today’s ride will reward you with some of the most incredible landscapes Colombia has to offer. We start with a swift descent. For 30 kilometres we will cruising to the Cauca River which sits in valley floor. But we couldn’t finish the day with out a good climb! Day 6La Pintada lives up to its name. “The Painting” is a lush tropical valley that sits at the foothills of the central Andean Colombian mountain range and is banked by the second largest river in Colombia. Day 7A new day, a new challenge, and today’s is a really nice one. We will approach Medellin, the eternal spring city, and we couldn’t do it in a better fashion. Day 8Medellin, the city of eternal spring, is a great place for a rest day. Spend the day relaxing at the hotel or enjoy this cosmopolitan centre by foot. There is plenty to explore.Day 9 - Day 9: Transfer to airport
