Why join this tour

Colombia’s coffee region is an amalgamation of hues of green, blue and gold. At Arriba, we created this road cycling tour as an introduction to riding in Colombia and experiencing its culture: challenging enough to feel like a proper cycling adventure, but with more room to take everything in.

The climbs are more accessible than on our advanced tours, taking you through the landscapes that inspired Encanto: lush mountains, coffee farms, quiet roads and colorful towns. The riding is fundamental, we just don’t make everything about the bike.

The set up is unsurpassed. Air carries the scent of fertile, deep-black soil, and sunlight that gently warms without burning. Around every corner, the mountains and valleys remind you why Colombia has become such a remarkable destination for cyclists.

Along the way, we ride through Filandia and Salento, explore the Cocora Valley, and pass beneath its towering wax palms, completing the iconic landscape of Colombia’s Coffee Region.

Is it for you?

Built for cyclists who want to discover Colombia by bike, without making the entire trip about the bike.
You ride regularly and want a proper cycling challenge, but you’d rather have some time to enjoy the coffee farms, mountain views, colorful towns and good food along the way. The riding is real, the climbs are part of the experience, but there’s more room to slow down and take Colombia in.
For everyday cyclists, weekend riders, or anyone looking for a meaningful challenge without going all-in on the demands of our more advanced tours, this might be your perfect ride.

Highlights of this trip

As sweet as the coffee

Imagine pedaling through the Coffee Region, where every curve of the road carries the same sweetness as the beans rooted in its soil.

A World Painted in Color

Forests breathing deep green, towns shimmering in vibrant hues, landscapes that seem to pulse with life itself. We ride through Filandia and Salento, two of the Coffee Region’s most distinctive towns, and into the landscapes that have made this corner of Colombia famous.

The Perfect Introduction

With days averaging 50 km (30 mi) and 1,200 m (4,000 ft) of climbing, the route finds its balance — for some a welcomed challenge, for others a flowing ride through the emerald folds of Colombia.

Premium service, Premium accommodation

Every detail is thoughtfully arranged. From the staff to the accommodation and the food, you’ll feel cared for both on and off the bike, letting conversation linger seamlessly at night.

The warm embrace

Feel that glow inside, whether from the sun gently toasting your skin or the genuine warmth of smiling locals. What you’ll take home isn’t empty KOMs, but a sweetness that lingers long after the ride.

How we make the magic happen

Providing the most memorable week of your year is quite a task that requires  a multitude of moving parts to fall into place at the right time. We have aligned everything to make it happen. Our staff, the hotels, and equipment are all ready. These tour days you are about to embark on are a celebration of life. We know it.

The Staff

We guarantee small groups, up to 12 customers, and each group has two support vehicles, and two riding guides. This a 1:3 Staff to customers ratio. The Guides are your Wingman, while the drivers are our Angels.
Max group size: 12
Guides : 3
Drivers (Road’s angles): 2
Support Vehicles: 2

The hotels

Along the meticulously planned route, we chase exclusivity wherever we can, and when the road winds into the mountains with simple, authentic charm, we lean right in. The ride — and the mountains — always come first.

The bikes

We partnered with Time for their exclusive bikes. Their good manners inspire confidence and refinement on the road. Paired with Ultegra Di2 and carbon wheels, they smooth every climb and descent. Feeling daunted? Grab an E-bike — same care, same ride quality.

The secret

The  real magic is mixing emotions and objects to create the best week of your year. Something you will remember in the years to come.

Bring your partner

Share the adventure

If you can almost feel the warm breeze running through the coffee bushes but wonder if these gentler days might fit your partner too — they will. With most rides wrapped up by early afternoon, we’ve planned the rest of each day so you can explore Colombia’s rich culture together. Coffee tastings, farm experiences, watching hummingbirds and orchids in bloom — it’s all here to turn this into a shared adventure you’ll both remember.
